In February, Carnivals are celebrated, particularly near the port in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, where people dance to the sound of the best Salsa groups. During the 27 days of the carnival, traditional and spectacular festivities take place such as the election of the Queen. These carnivals are one of the most sought after attractions of Tenerife and some even say they’re the best after those of Rio de Janeiro!
