Stirring music to celebrate Queen’s 60 years

As the UK gears up to celebrate Her Majesty the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Club La Costa World celebrity ambassador Jennie Bond is preparing to play her part. Broadcaster and writer Jennie – famous for her former role as the BBC’s Royal correspondent – will host a series of concerts around Britain featuring music and songs to unite the nation.

The Happy and Glorious Tour will feature singers Rosemary Squires and James Graeme, Piper Finlay MacDonald, conductor Gavin Sutherland, and the Concert Orchestras from London and Manchester. A repertoire of music celebrating 60 glorious years will include stirring favourites such as Land of Hope and Glory, There’ll Always Be An England, White Cliffs of Dover, Men of Harlech, Danny Boy and Scotland The Brave, as well as much loved TV and radio favourites Last Of The Summer Wine, Dad’s Army, Coronation Street, .Morecambe and Wise and The Archers.

The evening will round off with The Floral Dance, Summer Holiday, Any Dream Will Do and Hey Jude in a nod at those in the music industry who have featured in honours lists over the years.
