The latest band to sign up as a headline act for the Eden Sessions is Blink-182, one of the biggest pop punk bands of all time. The Californian three-piece band has sold more than 27 million albums in total and won multiple awards, including Best New Act at the 2000 MTV Europe Music Awards and Best Rock Act the following year.
The band split in 2005 but reformed in 2009 and released an acclaimed album, Neighbourhoods, last September. Blink-182 is the second announcement for the 2012 Eden Sessions, at Cornwall’s Eden Project and will appear on Sunday July 8th.
Hip-hop star Plan B will headline the show on Friday July 6th and more acts will be announced soon. The Eden Sessions are now in their 11th year and are one of the top rock and pop UK summer festivals.
Guests at Club La Costa World’s Trenython Manor and Hustyns resorts are both within easy driving reach of the world-famous Eden Project.
