A full list of public holidays in Tenerife 2012 has been published and features the 11 fiestas and an extra day to celebrate the island’s patron saint day. For Tenerife this means 2 February is the public holiday for the Virgín de la Candeleria.

2 February: Virgín de la Candeleria
5 & 6 April: Easter
1 May: Fiesta del Trabajo
30 May: Día de Canarias
15 August: Asunción de la Virgen
12 October: Día de España
1 November: Todos los Santos
6 December: Día de la Constitución
8 December: Inmaculada Concepción
25 December: Christmas Day
In addition to the above 12 days, each municipality has an extra two days for local fiestas and traditions, bringing the total number of holidays in Tenerife to 14 days.
