Organised by the International Mozarteum Foundation to coincide with the legendary composer’s birthday, Mozart Week takes place every January in the city of Salzburg.
A week-long series of productions including operas, chamber music, orchestral and soloist concerts delight Mozart fans from across the globe. Some of the world’s most famous Mozart conductors and orchestras, including the Vienna Philharmonic, are responsible for upholding the internationally renowned reputation of the festival and composer.
Concerts are staged in a variety of venues throughout the city, including Mozart’s house, the Festival Hall and the Mozarteum University’s Solitär. The festival, first held in 1956, and the added charm of the snow-covered city of Salzburg, continues to attract classical music fans from many countries every year.
Club La Costa World’s Alpine Centre is just over an hour away from the charming city of Salzburg and is easily accessible by road. The event takes place from 27 January – 5 February.
The International Mozarteum Foundation was founded in 1842 and is a non-profit organisation responsible for preserving the Mozart legacy.
