Team Marina leader Hollie Brooks has been hard at work since summer after taking up the challenge to build a busy and exciting programme of activities for all the family at our CLC Worldwide resort Encantada, in the heart of Florida.
There’s plenty to do for guests of all ages. Fitness fans can keep in shape – start the day with a walk/run around the resort and fabulous lake, and follow it up with yoga, Pilates, cardio circuit training, sculpt/tone/ab workouts, aqua aerobics classes and aqua dance classes. Those who love splashing around in the pool can enjoy water volleyball, basketball and Polo as well as swimming competitions.
Fancy taking on the world at ping-pong or pool? No problem, just sign up. French bowls and American Horse Shoes offer a bit of fun and competition at a gentler pace and there are traditional British “pub sports” like darts and dominoes. It’s eyes down for Bingo, and pool-side Bingo games, chess and checkers competitions and plenty of quizzes to give the brain a work-out.
Hollie and the team have developed a wide range of activities for four to 10 years-olds to keep them happy and busy when they are not out and about visiting Florida’s fabulous attractions. There are plenty of water games, soccer, kickball, Dodgeball, darts, ping-pong, hula-hoop championships, jump-rope competitions, plus arts and crafts, along with cinema and disco nights.
And if all this activity starts to take its toll, then enjoy the luxury of a spa treatment in the comfort of your own room. A therapeutic massage service from an outside company offers different types of massage to ease those aching muscles. So much to do in Florida, and so much to do at your Encantada resort.
