Brave – New Movie to Boost Scottish Tourism

Scottish tourism is about to be promoted on the back of a new Disney/Pixar animated film set in the Highlands. Called “Brave” the film is based on a fairy tale and features voice performances from a host of Scottish stars, including Billy Connolly, Robbie Coltrane and Kevin McKidd alongside other stars of stage and screen such as Emma Thompson and Julie Walters.

The Scottish Tourism authorities are predicting that “Brave” will do for Scotland what “Finding Nemo” did for Sydney and expect it to exceed “Braveheart” in the number of visitors it attracts. Duchally Country Estate, the Scottish resort of CLC Worldwide provides an ideal base from which to explore the country and visit locations and scenery featured in the new film.

Duchally Country Estate is set in twenty-seven acres of parklands and is surrounded by some of the most spectacular and picturesque landscapes of Perthshire. Located in the heart of Scotland, the mountains, glens, lochs and rivers – all easily accessible to guests – create dramatic and breathtaking views.
