Holidaymakers and sun worshippers visiting the popular area of Kusadasi in Turkey are spoilt for choice in terms of beaches and, with our Kusadasi Village resort scheduled to open in May 2012, that’s good news for Club La Costa members and guests who wish to soak up the sun and relax with the crystal clear waters of the Aegean Sea lapping the shores.
The coastline of Kusadasi ranges from golden sandy beaches through pebbly shores to rocky coves. The busiest beaches are in the centre of Kusadasi and water sports activities are generally available from these. Further out of town are the more secluded and serene beaches perfect for renting a sunbed and parasol and getting stuck into a good book. The rocky coves offer superb diving and snorkelling experiences.
With such a variety of beaches in Kusadasi, there will be something for everyone, here is a small selection, but there are many more.

Downtown Beach
Downtown Beach falls between the harbour and the marina. You can watch the giant cruise ships coming and going and enjoy the splendid sight of Pigeon Island as you sunbathe.

Ladies Beach
Ladies Beach was once segregated with only women bathers allowed! You can walk there from town or reach it by dolmus. Now the world comes to this very busy beach with facilities for sunbathing and water sports, several beach clubs and a palm lined promenade. There are shops selling souvenirs and an assortment of cafes and restaurants, which fill as sunset approaches and clients watch the sun slip behind the beautiful island of Samos, a memorable experience.

Long Beach
Long Beach is ideal for swimming and water sports, with crystal clear water and a sandy beach that stretches into the distance. It lies 6km south of town but is busy and popular with water sports, cafes and one of Kusadasi’s 3 aqua parks.

Kustur Beach
Kustur Beach, while just 3km from Kusadasi town, is a quiet sand and pebble beach which is extremely clean and ideal for those who are looking for something less diverting and more restful.

National Park Beach
National Park Beach is 30km from the town but is easy to reach by dolmus; it is also close to Club La Costa’s soon to be opening new Kusadasi Golf & Spa Resort. The trees of the protected parkland fringe the beach providing welcome shade for picnics and a natural place of relaxation.
