Orlando will be holding its first music festival this autumn called “Orlando Calling” giving Club La Costa members and guests staying in Encantada another choice event in this ever popular Florida destination.
A varied mix of rock, country, blues and indie music will be on offer to festival goers across four stages with the first day themed around more modern music and the second day appealing to lovers of classic American music.
The Killers are confirmed as headliners on the opening day alongside other bands such as Pixies, the Racounters and Gogol Bordello. The final day will see Kid Rock, Dwight Yokam and Bob Seager and the Silver Bullet Band entertaining the crowds.
The venue will be the city’s Citrus Bowl Park and the event is being organised by the same company that is responsible for the Leeds and Reading festivals in the UK.
Orlando Calling will take place on November 12 & 13, 2011. The Citrus Bowl is located in downtown Orlando, just 30 minutes or so by road from Club La Costa’s Encantada resort.
