Apes gone wild!!!
The widespread recession that has rocked all of Europe has not only affected workers on the Costa del Sol, but it has also spread to some of Gibraltar’s indigenous inhabitants…The Barbary Apes of Gibraltar.
Reports show that due to the lower numbers of tourists visiting the Rock of Gibraltar, specifically the Upper Rock Tour where the Apes are usually found entertaining tourists and posing for pictures, have caused the curious apes to come down from the rock and into the streets. Several visitors have been shocked by the sight of seeing them “monkeying around” and rummaging along Main Street in Gibraltar.
Gibraltar is located 100km from Club La Costa’s Marina del Sol Resort on the Costa del Sol. Each week, Club La Costa organizes special excursions, departing from the resort, to many of the amazing sights along the Costa del Sol, with Gibraltar being on of the most popular among guests.
