Guests on holiday in Cornwall at the Club La Costa resorts are in a privileged position to take advantage of the close proximity of the Centre. The whole exhibition is designed to reflect what life has been like in Charlestown through its history. Not only does it provide a glimpse in to what the place was like when it was part of a thriving china clay industry but also showcases the village’s history with regards to maritime matters. Some of the maritime pieces on view date back as far as 1715 and this particular Centre houses one of the UK’s largest underwater diving equipment collection.
