Throughout last December, staff at Club La Costa’s offices on the Costa del Sol made a collective effort to donate items of non-perishable food for local families in need.
The response was fantastic and resulted in 30 large boxes being filled with groceries, which were taken in staff cars to the Lions Club of Mijas for onward distribution to social centres and family homes in time for Christmas.
Organiser Antonia Hagelen-McIntosh said, “What started as such a small idea in the end became a huge success and I would like to express my sincere gratitude to colleagues and Members at Club La Costa who helped to make this possible.”
